THEATRE FESTIVAL APP
PERSONAS - SCENARIOS - WIREFRAMES
PROJECT OVERVIEW
For this project, I was challenged with creating a mobile app that enhanced the experience of attending a Toronto festival. I chose to build an app for the Toronto Fringe Festival because it is the city's largest theatre festival that features over 155 plays in over 25 venues. I've attended the festival in the past, and I’ve had difficulty trying to find a venue. As a result of my experience, I wanted to develop an app that focuses on helping festival goers navigate their way around the city by focusing on show time schedules and theatre locations. To achieve this, UX research was needed in the form of personas to guide decisions about design and functionality. I also conducted an ethnographic study to get a better understanding of the archetypical theatre-goer.
