PROJECT OVERVIEW

For this project we conducted a usability test of the GO Transit mobile app. As a group of four, we conducted many tests such as a usability test plan, methodology of testing procedures, and a testing report. As frequent users of the GO transit system we were familar with the app's shortcomings.  The app required a redesign and update that focused on the user experience. 

Our goal for the usability test was to determine the pain points of the GO Transit Mobile app in order to improve the overall user experience. Collecting feedback of how passengers use the app for their daily commute and to determine which features GO Transit should opt to improve, remove or add. 

Our objectives for the usability test were:

• To collect feedback and recommendations that address the use of the application
• To improve user experience
• To improve navigation throughout the application

Based off the results of our usability test, we’ve identify how to improve the user experience of the GO Transit mobile app. The following 5 key changes in UX design would optimize the app’s performance and conversion rate. These changes would also ensure the quality of user engagement and reduce customer journey roadblocks.
